Facebooks' real name policy. aka, an invasion of privacy

I have essentially been banned from Facebook because I didn't post my real name. They are now demanding proof of Identity, which they have no right to ask for.
 I don't give a rats ass if it's "big Brother" or just for the sake of marketing, they have no right to ask (demand) my ID # as proof of who I am.
 I am and have been (quite comfortably) a ghost the majority of my adult life. I prefer anonymity to all the glamour they seem to think we all want.
 I even tried to actually switch to my actual name just to make em shut the actual fuck up... that's when they demanded photo proof of Ident. Nope. That's when they can fuck off.
